Newcastle Santa Run - CANCELLED

Due to adverse weather conditions the postponed Newcastle Santa Run on Sunday 15th February had to be cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

On Thursday 12th February the health and safety officer and event organisers decided that due to hazardous weather conditions, and an unpredictable weather forecast for the forthcoming days, it would not be safe for the run to go ahead.

Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund and Century Radio websites were immediately updated, and we started to contact all participants by telephone. The message was announced on Century Radio and ITV local news. We do hope that you received the message.

Regrettably, the 2008 Newcastle Santa Run is now officially cancelled.

If you entered the 2008 Newcastle Santa Run, we will transfer your entry to the 2009 Newcastle Santa Run in December. If you do not wish to take part in the 2009 Newcastle Santa Run, please let us know.
